  • 500 grams Potato (3 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter softened
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup Warm whole milk
  • Fresh parsley leaves to garnish (optional)
  • Pepper powder as required
  • Salt to taste

  • 500 grams Potato (3 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter softened
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup Warm whole milk

Mashed potatoes
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Then transfer them into a large pot full of cold water. Add salt, mix well and boil until the potatoes are done.
  2. Drain well and mash the potatoes with a potato masher or ricer.
  3. Add butter and mix well. Then add the milk and mix until everything combined. Season the potato mixture with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley leaves.
  5. NOTE - Choose starchy potatoes like Russets or Yukon Golds for this recipe.
  6. One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml.
