Ingredients
  • 500 grams Beef cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 medium-sized Potato (300 - 350 grams)
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger finely chopped
  • 4 numbers Green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato sauce
  • Pepper powder as required
  • 2 sprigs Curry leaves finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil
For Frying
  • 2 numbers Egg white
  • 1 1/2 cups Fine bread crumbs
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
  1. Cook the beef with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt, allow it to cool. Mince the cooked meat and keep aside.
  2. Boil and mash the potatoes, keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, saute onion, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves till the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Add minced meat, garam masala, pepper powder, and tomato sauce, saute till the mixture becomes dry, allow it to cool.
  5. Add mashed potatoes and mix well. Make small balls and roll each balls into any shape.
  6. Dip each cutlet in egg white and roll in bread crumbs.
  7. Deep fry the cutlets. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
  8. NOTE - One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
