Ingredients
1cupSemolina(rava)
1 1/2cupsWater
1/4cupOnionchopped
1/4cupCarrotchopped
1 1/2teaspoonsGingerchopped
1numberGreen chillichopped
1sprig Curry leaf
1/2teaspoonMustard seed
Saltto taste
1tablespoonGhee
Instructions
Heat a deep pan and dry roast the semolina for few minutes, keep aside.
Heat ghee in the same pan, fry mustard seeds. Add onion, carrot, ginger, green chilli and curry leaf, saute until the onion is soft and translucent.
Add water and salt to the pan and bring everything to boil. When it starts boiling, lower the flame and add roasted semolina, mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with banana.
NOTE – One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
