Spicy Prawn Fry
This spicy prawn fry tastes great either as a side dish with rice or as an appetizer.

Ingredients
  • 15numbers Large prawns(500 grams before cleaning)
  • 2teaspoons Chilli powder
  • 1teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/2teaspoon Pepper powder
  • 1/4teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4teaspoon Fennel seed powder
  • 2teaspoons Lime juice
  • 1/2teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1/2teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1sprig Curry leavesFinely chopped
  • Saltto taste
  • Coconut oilFor shallow frying
Instructions
  1. Remove the head, shell, and devein the prawns. Leave the tail on the prawns.
  2. Make a masala paste by mixing all the ingredients except coconut oil. Marinate the prawns with the masala paste. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat a few tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan and shallow fry the prawns in medium-high heat. Fry for about 8 minutes until both sides brown.
  4. Serve hot.
  5. NOTE – One teaspoon = 5 ml.
