Ingredients
  • 1kilograms Mutton pieces(bone-in)
  • 6numbers Clove
  • 4numbers Cardamom
  • 2pieces Cinnamon
  • 1number Bay leaf
  • 2cups Onionchopped
  • 1/4cup Shallotsliced
  • 1/2cup Tomatochopped
  • 1 1/2tablespoons Gingercrushed
  • 1 1/2tablespoons Garliccrushed
  • 1number Green chillichopped
  • 2teaspoons Chilli powder
  • 2teaspoons Kahmiri chilli powder
  • 2teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1/4teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/4cup coriander leaveschopped
  • Saltto taste
  • Oilto saute
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large pan and add clove, cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaf. Add onion and shallot, saute until golden brown. Add ginger, garlic, and green chilli, saute.
  2. Add chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder along with little water and saute till oil separates. Add chopped tomato and cook till it becomes soft.
  3. Add mutton pieces, stir for a few minutes. Add 1/2 cup of water and pressure cook until the mutton is done.
  4. Add garam masala and coriander leaves. Remove from fire.
  5. Serve with ghee rice, white rice, poori, etc.
  6. NOTE – One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
