Classic Mojito
Mojito (pronounced as Mohito) is a Cuban cocktail made with white rum, mint syrup, lime juice, and club soda.

Ingredients
  • 1/4cup White rum
  • 1tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2tablespoons Mint syrup
  • 1/2cup Club soda
  • Ice cubesas required
To Garnish
  • 10numbers Fresh mint leaves
  • 2numbers Lime slices
For Mint Syrup
  • 1/2cup Fresh mint leavesloosely packed
  • 1/4cup Sugar
  • 1/4cup Water
Instructions
  1. FOR MINT SYRUP – Combine water, sugar, and mint leaves in a saucepan, bring to boil. Remove from heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Keep aside to cool down. Strain the syrup into a glass jar and discard the leaves.
  2. Fill a tall glass to the top with ice. Pour over the white rum, lime juice, mint syrup, and club soda. Stir gently, garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
  3. Serve immediately.
  4. NOTE – The leftover mint syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  5. I used Bacardi superior white rum in this recipe.
  6. One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
