Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup White rum
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Mint syrup
  • 1/2 cup Club soda
  • Ice cubes as required
To Garnish
  • 10 numbers Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 numbers Lime slices
For Mint Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water

  • 1/4 cup White rum
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Mint syrup
  • 1/2 cup Club soda
  • Ice cubes as required
To Garnish

For Mint Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
Classic mojito
Instructions
  1. FOR MINT SYRUP - Combine water, sugar, and mint leaves in a saucepan, bring to boil. Remove from heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Keep aside to cool down. Strain the syrup into a glass jar and discard the leaves.
  2. Fill a tall glass to the top with ice. Pour over the white rum, lime juice, mint syrup, and club soda. Stir gently, garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
  3. Serve immediately.
  4. NOTE - The leftover mint syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  5. I used Bacardi superior white rum in this recipe.
  6. One cup = 250 ml, one tablespoon = 15 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
