Chicken Dry Roast
Chicken dry roast made without tomatoes. It is very tasty and easy to make.

  • 500grams Chicken pieces
  • 2 cups Onionsliced
  • 2teaspoons Gingercrushed
  • 2teaspoons Garliccrushed
  • 1 1/2teaspoons Chilli powder
  • 1 1/2teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1/4teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2teaspoon Lime juice
  • 1sprig Curry leaf
  • Pepper powderas required
  • Saltto taste
  • Oilto saute
  1. Heat oil in a large pan, saute onion until lightly browned. Add ginger, garlic and saute. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder along with little water and saute for few minutes till the oil starts appearing.
  2. Add chicken pieces and required amount of water, mix well. Cover and cook until chicken is almost done.
  3. Now add garam masala, pepper powder, lime juice, and curry leaves. Stir well until the gravy is completely dry and coated with chicken.
  4. serve hot with rice.
  5. NOTE – One cup = 250 ml, one teaspoon = 5 ml.
